whats with the hump in the middle there, come on level those babies out and you could probably fit another 1/4 bag in there.
Is there something mixed in with those? Looks like some darker pellets in there that I havnt seen in Lacrete
Yes there were some 802s in the barrel I scooped them from and also I think it's the pic . Pellets are tough to capture their true colors.
If there's a better pellet, I'd love to burn it. I've burned at least 5 different brands of DF pellets and while the heat seems the same among them, the cleanliness/ease of cleaning the stove is not. My supplier told me that the sawdust is always indoors and never touches dirt because of the concrete floor at the mill. IIRC, I burned over 3 tons last year before emptying the ash pan in my P61.
I'm always impressed with mills that have inside storage and if you can find a dealer that has the same . Bingo !
Wow feels like it's been a year since we heard for you. Oh wait, that's because it has! Welcome back!
Pretty much how my pellet guy describes DF. Its expensive but if you dont like cleaning the stove, these are the way to go.
I'm still wondering how you smoke sideways. Must have something to do with brewskis but I am not really sure how. How's the smoker treatin ya these days? Man I lucked out last spring at HD on a 1 day sale of Royal Oak at 6.99 a bag. I grabbed as much as I could and still have 4 bags in the garage
That's The trick... finding that dealer that gets his stuff from a distributor that can keep his whole stock inside... transported by truckers that cover their loads..... the stars have to be aligned just right!! Tough job...
I believe it's their Waverly, Virginia . plant . Acushnet Alternative Heating | Acushnet, MA this is where I get them from . No inside storage but as soon as their shipment comes in they schedule your delivery $ 40 but they do use a small trailer and pallet jack so are limited to where they can drop them .
My pellets were delivered Thursday and now to see what's inside . Much lighter and smaller than last year which is what I was looking for .
