actually, the oldest on the left came from a liter of 8..... from that liter, a male[ her brother] sired a liter and we got one of the pups.
that's makes them Aunt & Niece... of course they have no clue..lol

Beautiful dog Will! And I bet that's her favorite spot right in front of the stove too! Ours are the same.

12 bags of EasyBlaze SYP. shut the stove down this morning to scrape the burn pot and check things out. generally in this weather with the GT's I'm was cleaning every week (and scraping the burn pot mid-week) as the ash pan on the 52I is small. Didn't particularly need the scrape, and the ash pan is less than 1/2. heat exchangers look good. no chunks in the ash line

all in all, very pleased. the SYP is performing as predicted. i'll go another week to probably to the 1/2 ton mark.

I'm still waiting for cold weather to hit before I break out my 4 bags of good stuff; 1 of Vermont's (left from last year), one of Lacretes (gift) and 2 of Olympus that I got from Henry.

When I get up in the morning and there's only 1 number showing on the thermometer, it's cold. And if it doesn't get up to 20, it's still cold.
