    Early on in this situation, maybe two or three weeks into dense work from home population boom, I read an interview with an MIT person the predicted a migration back to the garden.

    I didn't figure that'd take long
    :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    As far as the city folk moving into our neighborhood.. no worries there.

    Coworker once heard "coasters" describe our area of NY as a desolate wasteland, and that people were just abandoning their properties.

    Without snowmobile's (which I don't have) we can't even go anywhere in the winter.

    Yeah.. they should remain on the East Coast

    I have been disappointed that my neighbors do not seem to be abandoning their properties.

    We were in drawdown to defrost phase for 2 of our big freezers when this whole fiasco started . Literally down to 20lbs of meat. We scrabbled and ordered 140lbs chicken in April.Just defrosted one freezer 2 weekends ago and this week picked up 80lbs chicken and 60lbs burger. Going to finish filling in next month . Fish, pork chops, kielbasa , steaks. Would like to buy a half beef but prices are rediculous. I’ll watch the quick sale steaks at the local deli/butcher.

    If you have extra wood then go for it. Just be sure its dry and the amount you sell is accurate...ie half cord, cord etc.
