We got a litter of abandoned puppies at the humane society I worked at in the late 80's. They all had multiple welts. Assisted in excising a few. The vet said it would be easier on the pups to let the GIANT (non native) moths to get themselves out. Too many on each pup to put that many stitches all over them. The larva matured, broke through and we quickly swatted them dead. ICK I mean gross like bigbarf48
