    So I'm curious, any of you old enough to remember when TV came out, did your elders mention or feel the same kind of way? That this younger generation will be sitting in front of a screen instead of outside doing chores!

    I can remember it. I used to go outside because there were 2 channels and both were always broadcast in a snow storm............................:rofl: :lol:

    Ummm... we just had an apocolips with the Mac... again... :picard:... off-line fer a week. And... I'm still alive... :dancer:... as fer the Mac (#2), it's toast. It will meet the same fate as #1 (w/pics) ... ;) ... gooder pre-paid therapy ... :dex::headbang:

    Ok you were canning during a outage. Did you have propane to get the water hot enough to vacuum seal the jars? Did you wait for the meat to start canning? I am having trouble wrapping my head around how you might have done it.
