I PMed the seller asking if he knew how many of these Stihl manufactured and he didn't know, but stated 30 were given out/alotted for Connecticut.

Ah yes, materialism! I'd be willing to give an extra $50 for those 'bold new graphics' and not a penny more. Anyone trying to convince me that these saws are worth more than an ounce of gold can take a long walk off a short pier.

I just checked and it is no longer available. I had contemplated buying it but if she found out I spent $5400 on a chain saw id get :heidi:

Wonder how much it'd be worth in the future? Time will tell.

$4k saw to cut $100 worth of wood. I doubt even the speediest Faller could justify at $.04/board ft.

Especially if the chinees do a knock off one that looks like an anniversary edition, but for $3-400! :faint:

It's value is tied to a very small niche. When opting to sell your collector saw for collector prices, you need a collector not a hoarder.

C'mon Brad... when are you picking yours up? I thought everyone in Connecticut was a gozillionaire using crumpled wads of $1,000 bills in lieu of toilet paper

Everyone is saying it’s just an extension of Manhattan. It’s where they have their weekend homes.

The BEP used to print $1000 notes. Popular collectors item selling for well above face value.

The fascination with currency as a 'collection' thing I never did get. Someone will pay more for Gold shaped into a coin with certain things embossed on it? Well, to me it's just still a piece of Gold and it's value is based on weight rather than aesthetics. I guess that says something about my personality or something.
