I believe the B 46 is the model number the date will be stamped on the very bottom you will have to turn it upside down to see

So an A46 is the first six months of that year and a B46 is the last six months of the year??

You could try dumping in some bb's and shake, then flush with fuel, re do it a couple times until it is at least better. At least this you can try without disassembling.

Hey folks, I need some assistance Please. First, I know very little, "almost nothing" :emb: about these lanterns. When my Father in law passed he had this old Kamplite sitting on the shelf with about 40 years of dust.
I was gonna get rid of it but now, I'm gonna gett'r up and running. I know I need a mantle and were wiping it down, cleaning it up. So, question please... Does this take denatured alcohol/coleman fuel? I just found mantles at Ace hardware of all places o_O I can get them on line also easy. I can't find a date on it but I found on "Coleman collectors" that it was made between 1946 to 1958. Whatya all think, should I run it or look at it?

Flush the tank a time or 2, then run C-fuel. Use it and enjoy it!
