I believe the B 46 is the model number the date will be stamped on the very bottom you will have to turn it upside down to see
No nothing on bottom, even looked with a magnifying glass, thee is another one shown in this thread that has A46
Then I guess I’m stumped. Don’t know much about all this old Coleman stuff, except that it’s really cool. Just getting into it
Yep... I’d have given $5 for that in a heartbeat. Nice score I can’t really tell, is it blue or green?
You could try dumping in some bb's and shake, then flush with fuel, re do it a couple times until it is at least better. At least this you can try without disassembling.
Hey folks, I need some assistance Please. First, I know very little, "almost nothing" about these lanterns. When my Father in law passed he had this old Kamplite sitting on the shelf with about 40 years of dust. I was gonna get rid of it but now, I'm gonna gett'r up and running. I know I need a mantle and were wiping it down, cleaning it up. So, question please... Does this take denatured alcohol/coleman fuel? I just found mantles at Ace hardware of all places I can get them on line also easy. I can't find a date on it but I found on "Coleman collectors" that it was made between 1946 to 1958. Whatya all think, should I run it or look at it?
