My biggest deterrent to eating certain foods is watching other people eat it.

I do eat a lot of snacks. But I CAN'T STAND cheese puffs or anything that leaves that powdery cheesy residue. I have flashbacks of seeing people with that crap stuck to their fingers as their licking it off and turning their lips a crusty yellow to match their fingers.

And I don't like my food touching, that really pizzes me off. Especially if there is any kind of liquid present that might leach into the surrounding food. My older sisters used to mix their food together and eat it like a slop. That grossed me out to the point that at 41 I still can't eat casseroles, shepherd's pie, or anything mixed like that. Unless it's something that goes together traditionally like spaghetti and meatballs, a burger, etc. I can't stand it.

Oh my goodness. The "chessy residue" (yes, I know it's not cheese) is the best part. Makes me mad to see people not lick it off their fingers and just waste it by washing (and this is assuming their hands were clean to begin with). Don't eat casseroles!! Holy smokes man! Ain't much better than going to a church potluck and getting aholt of the casseroles! Done made my stomach start growling!

Nope, not happening lol. The word "casserole" on it's own just sounds gross.

Lol we can still be friends.

Every time I hear casserole though, I picture the person eats it like Randy on The Christmas Story eating like a piggy.

lol, my sister is like that. My mother even got her a cafeteria tray with the separate compartments to insure things wouldn’t mix! I’m a mix it all up kinda guy, even snort occasionally! Lol

I don't so much care if my food touches, but I definitely eat one thing at a time. Hamburger and fries, for example..............I would eat my hamburger, and then my fries. None of this mix and match eating. My eggs and sausage in the morning........I eat all the sausage, then the eggs, or vise versa. Used to drive my Dad nuts, when I was a kid. He'd force me to eat a bite of everything and rotate my food. Lol

So I just had to look that up. If I'm around some good casseroles (or any of that good family reunion/church potluck food) I don't eat like that, but I do have that much enthusiasm and gusto!

Oh, and Randy would get a whoopin in this house. And he'd go to bed hungry.

I'm just amazed you have a drawer designated entirely to your snacks. That's awesome.

I've been having a splash of ACV into small glass of water first thing in the morning and wearing my CPAP every night. I haven't been waking up with nearly as much pain in the morning. Typically when I get up my muscles feel "strained" if that makes sense and it goes away as I start moving around. Better sleep has helped but I still don't like "humid air" being forced into my nose. I hate being hot.

I've been watching vids lately talking about the importance of diet and gut health..."microbiome" etc. Also the importance of nitric oxide, and the detriment of flouride I tooth paste and particularly mouth wash.

Not being a Dr, biologist, dietician etc etc...the info is very interesting, and have to take at face value and for truth to begin with.

There's a lot to that, gut health. Probiotics is important, I think and I've experienced that first hand. I had gut issues for years and cured that with a probiotic.

I read about it, tried it for myself and noticed a difference, so I stuck with it.
