Hadn't seen this thread till now.

Wasn't aware of the rally, but very supportive of the movement.

As I posted in the bullchiting thread..

Had State troopers see that sign & chuckle.

It's getting a bit faded, I should touch it up or buy a new one.

Yes, and I know that it had zero effect.

We have been told quite clearly; and we had to "sign" that we read the ToS that no political discussions are allowed on the FHC forums. There is no way to discuss this without it being political. I understand the reasoning behind it. I also think we are adults and should be able to discuss such things in a civil manner; no matter what side one may be on, without resorting to calling each other names if we disagree. However, I will follow the rules.

Or even those that don't. I don't mind listening to opinions from those that disagree with me if they can present logical arguments.

I didn't drive to Richmond but watched several live streams. These protests have zero effect. You can see this by the events that have happened afterwards. There is no way to discuss this without it going into politics; for example, what are the events that happened? I can't say, they are political.

Obviously, there is a way to discuss this without being political. It is taking place right here, right now.

Anyone who is sworn to defend the constitution of the US by signing their name in the armed forces has a much deeper insight to honor, love for country, honesty (great one, huh?), integrity, courage are but a few. Furthermore, anyone who has been drafted/enlisted in the U.S. armed forces, has at the very least, given up (at a minimum) years of their life and in most cases sacrificed some of their physical as well as mental health. Those who have chosen not to serve just can't begin to understand or comprehend this.

Then there are those who have not given anything to their country, rather, just hold their hands out and ask form the country for support with their self-justified sense of entitlement. These are the ones who are helping out dragging the nation down that highway to he!!.

As far as the name calling goes, it happens and the forum still stays open. This is a public forum with public opinions and public advice coming from members that are and aren't in a position to give advice. Shouldn't have to worry about "hurting someone's feelings" by what is posted.

There are plenty of other sandboxes out there on the web that can cater to the whims/feelings/beliefs of an individual.

Maybe offering a course in gun training requiring 100% participation is in order? In our schools.

Still had a rifle in school when I grew up! That and archery! Wouldn't be strange at all to see them hanging on a gun rack either. My how times have changed!
