This is great advice! About 10+ years ago now I made a concerted decision to quit competing with all the scabs running around in pickup trucks offering cut rate prices on “tree work.” The race to offer the lowest price is a race to the bottom and nobody wins. I differentiate myself on my particular expertise. I have never been disappointed in that decision! It automatically pruned all my trouble clients, and I ended up making the same amount of money with a much smaller work load.

I let my son do the quoting now as he is a much better business man than I was or will ever be.
