    After that I picked a random repeater and had a great chat with an AE named Scott.

    Well, I must have screwed up somewhere, I cannot get my pc and radio to communicate. Going to listen the WH address and go back again.

    wildwest did you get the UV_5R?

    It should have that radio in the dropdown menu.

    You may also have to find what com port the USB cable is using.

    Are you using a disc if it came with your radio or did you download chirp?

    Thanks, our did not come with a disc, and my disc player does not work either. Uggg. Think I'm going to set up the laptop and start over there. Thanks a Bunch!!
