Any Bird watchers here?

Instead of cropping, try reducing the size of the picture instead. If on a computer, I reduce the size to 65%. I am unsure how or if that can be done on a phone though.

 

It's easily done on my Samsung android phone.

Edit the picture
Select "resize" I then pick 80%
Save

 

A Great Egret taken yesterday at the Jocelyn Nungaray NWR in Coastal East Texas.

 

I couldn't find it at first. On my Samsung, there is one more step: Click the pencil at the bottom, click on the 3 elipses at top, then Resize shows up.
