    Wow, with the views you keep posting pictures of I wouldn't be able to get anything done as I would spend most of my day just staring. Nice stacks of wood by the way!

    Yes.
    Had mold growing on wood last spring with ice & snow filling the space between the rows.
    Snow may still get blown in there, we'll see.

    Top cover is not an option. We get high winds, (up to 85 mph last year) high enough to blow a single row of stacks over.
    So any top cover, ends up missing, shredded or airborne.

    Heading to the cutting area for one more load :)

    It can happen a lot higher temperature than that and some has been reported in MI already with temperatures in the 20's. However, the stuff you get at the -40 or thereabouts is a bit different. It also can be very beautiful. The most vivid rainbow I've ever seen was at around -38 with a clear blue sky. Wish I would have been able to get a picture of that one.
