Had just a little time this evening so I went up to the wood pile to split for a while. Dark thirty later I had split about 1 cord +- of WO and RO and a few pieces of pine. 4 separate piles. Some had ants in them, will let it sit for a while too get rid of them. Enjoyed the weather this evening.

I love those little Remingtons. My dad gave me his, and honestly, I thought he was just unloading some junk on me. Last weekend I wanted to cut some dead limbs and smaller pieces so I thought I would give the electric a try. I dusted off the whole thing, oiled what needed to be oiled, and sharpened the chain. I was totally surprised how well that worked for the things I was doing, and it was nice to take my finger off the trigger and have it stop and be able to put it down and walk away. I don't think I will fall any trees with it, but cutting things smaller than 8" or so is a breeze.
