Glad to see it still up! Lots of rain here. There were some gusts with local power outages. Branch drops, no doubt.
What I wanna know is how the heck the stuff buried in the middle of that pile is even going to dry?! In 5 years I wanna see a meter put to a re-split on the surface and one from deep inside that pile. I say five years because I don't see any of the internal splits losing much moisture in a couple years. Maybe I'm just used to red oak taking it's sweet-a$$ time to lose it's moisture.
Yep, someone on here mounded up a round pile(not a HH) and the stuff in the middle bottom read dry with a MM after a few years. I looked for that post a while back to reference it but couldn't find w/ the search. HH's get pretty big and they are well known to work fine.
