This just might happen this summer, or next spring 2018. I've got 180 trees getting logged sometime soon.

There will be plenty of tree tops to keep lots of us busy.
If not, the next door neighbor has another 130 tops we can deal with.

    Property located near Spencer, in.

    Welcome to the club!
Used to fish the strip mines and sech down your way with my twin brother. Actually it was more a chance to get away to primitive camp and hang out like cave men eating lots of fire seared meat and swilling cold beers!
If you ever find your way up around Rushville, give me a call.

Primer on Woodburning by Backwoods Savage

    Welcome to the forum Zachb91

I've given you a couple of excellent links you may wish to read. But finding good dry wood now can be a big problem. Good luck. You might get lucky and find a member to help you out. I might even suggest finding some dry pallets to cut up for burning; just be careful to not overfire.

I believe I'd be looking for standing and leaning deadwood right now. A couple of weeks on the stacks cut and split and a lot of it will be ready. Moisture meters can be had cheap at Harbor Freight. Then get cutting for next year!
