Another guessing game

    I don’t deal with that big of logs very often so I don’t handle them much but I’m sticking with a heavy 155

    For those of us in the know, the answer is simple:
    Count the rings, factor in 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55 89..... multiplied by the length and divided by 3.141592654, add 29 if it's a leap year and boom. Looks too heavy to split horizontally, that's all I know.

    Dont know but after dealing with the 36" pin oak the other day ive just about had it with big wood!

    Yes! People who deal with volume generally don't like the big logs. I have a lot of them unfortunately but will try to take care of many of those before it starts to get hot out. Working on them in the sun in July is ZERO fun.
