I'm only a homeowner / rancher. I'm not sure if I could handle professional grade oil, my skillset is somewhat limited.
It is...but a trip to Menards always ends with finding many more deals than what you went in looking for...so that stamp ends up being a good investment...I will wait for a while to send them in too, just in case I end up going back again sometime soon, mail them all together ...even if the "mail by" date is past, they will still pay late rebates on their "11% off" deals, however manufacturer based rebates (through Menards) do need to be turned in on time though. I had a rather large rebate get lost in the mail one time so I had a rather lively discussion with one of their "rebate center supervisors"...there was some extra work involved, but they did end up paying most of what I had coming...this is when I found out that the 11% rebates don't really expire if turned in "late".
On sale at TSC for $11.99. An old gift card paid for most of the three gallons. Should be good until at least years end. I don't go through a lot of it.
Nice that you pounced on that sale I have 6 gallons at home now but I'm considering picking up a couple more. I go through a lot less than you but there's something appealing about being on the 3 year plan with oil
Ive had a gift card from Christmas 2022 and hated to use it on bar oil, BUT saving $9 made it less painful. I should be good for at least nine months. I never really kept track of my bar oil consumption. Thanks again for the heads up.
I'm sitting on around a dozen and am now only buying once every four times I want to. Have only been through 1 jug of oil this summer while trying to avoid saw work. season will be here soon enough and I have Whoak, Smaple, Hlocust and some Bitterhick trees waiting for me.
I picked up 16 gallons of bar oil today at a TSC store in KY for $4.50 per gallon. It was priced at $10 in their store but the Jackson West, MI store has it on sale for the $4.50 price. TSC has price matched bar oil now twice for me, once at home in NC and today here in KY. I would have bought all they had but the manager asked me to leave her 4 so she could sell them at full price...lol.
