The rail yards were roasty toasty today. I usually bring 5 waters and a body armor drink. Today it was those and another 6 we left stashed on the locomotive. They were warm but wet. And not many clouds. I don't think I ever swat (sweated, past tense) so much in my life. The prevailing winds helped to keep things.cool most of the day.
Everything is a heat magnet: the rail cars, the tracks, even the ballast. Shade is pretty much unheard of in our different railyards. Crappy time of year but 8 inches plus of snow sucks pretty bad too lol
I posted a red dress pic of the Mrs last winter. It wasn’t particularly scandalous. I was given a brief explanation about a previous red dress poster. Apparently he wasn’t a terribly humble fellow? Sounds like he is not around here anymore?
Not around any longer… we feel the truth was catching up with him… time to move on… kinda like another “user”.
I rode a short black gon on maybe a mile shove yesterday. 3 grab-irons, and no way was I going to hook my arm over the top! My winter time pics are long erased but live here in the snow stack pictures thread. This one I do have, as a reminder of cooler days....
