An old timer told me

    Some years ago an old timer told me that heat not only rises it also moves north to south ! Anyone ever heard this before ?

    With the only exception being- "if you have a stove in the basement at one end of the house how to get heat up the stairs at the other end of the house and then back to the bedrooms in the added one wings of the house example threads!

    Yes, that is absolutely correct.....in what is taught!

    Heat just simply moves, but yet, eventually heat will rise. That is how the buzzards get to flying so high without flapping their wings. They simply find a thermal and circle it.
