Some years ago an old timer told me that heat not only rises it also moves north to south ! Anyone ever heard this before ?
With the only exception being- "if you have a stove in the basement at one end of the house how to get heat up the stairs at the other end of the house and then back to the bedrooms in the added one wings of the house example threads!
Heat just simply moves, but yet, eventually heat will rise. That is how the buzzards get to flying so high without flapping their wings. They simply find a thermal and circle it.
Heat moves to whatever location your wife/girlfriend is NOT at which is why we have to put another log on the fire
Maybe you will also be able to explain to me why the campfire smoke always comes at me no matter where I sit.
I appreciate the thoughtful and humorous responses . I posted this question on another site and got ridiculed for asking the question.Just goes to show this site is populated by very classy people.
