Delivered the half cord yesterday. I wasnt sure if i had dry enough for pit wood. Sold "lesser quality" wood with some oak with fungi growth. Some old ash rounds i split up. I explained to the lady and she was fine with it. After trying to burn unseasoned wood she'll be very happy. IMG_4593.JPG IMG_4592.JPG
Dead ash rounds i split smaller. Wood was getting stacked right away so i separated it as i unloaded so wetter wood will get stacked first. IMG_4596.JPG
Got an extra $20 for three bundles of kindling. A couple regulars buy it and ill sometimes comp new customers with a bundle. IMG_4595.JPG
They were having some remodeling done so tight quarters to deliver. Had to squeeze in next to a dumpster. Scrounged this copper tubing from the dumpster. 8lbs worth will bring $20. IMG_4594.JPG Between that and the $10 tip she gave me a worthwile trip.
I asked how long it will last them and she maybe three months. Wondering it ill be called for more? I should text and ask. Maybe ill harvest some standing dead in my woods??? Rare i sell bulk wood in the hot weather.

Next time cut split and toss in the truck from one of your scores on the way there. Save you the hassle of offloading and reloading. :)

I seldom scrounge that way but i like how you think. The load was a hodge podge of remnant wood that i was glad to be rid of.

Im not sure which pic you are referring to Warner? One pic with the scrap copper has a sheet of 3/4" plywood. I put that and another piece between the wheel wells and back of bed to create a funnel effect when i use the bed conveyor.
