I didn't realize bricks of .22LR were going for that much. I could triple my money easy by selling what I bought in 2012. And I know if I did that, then every woodchuck in the county would be making a beeline for my property 5 minutes after the deal was done.
You guy's are lucky. Can't find a brick of anything around here. A few weeks ago a new Murdochs got in a pallet of .22 American Eagle by mistake. 3 box a day limit, gone in 4 days. I cheated and got 6 days worth- 900 rnds. Practically a windfall around here. $ 2.54/ box of 50. EDIT- Got the second 1K of .223 from -freedommunitions.com- today. Looks like good stuff.
I quit shooting 22 now since its harder to find than anything else. 223 is the plinking caliber now for me.
Did you get the reman or new stuff from them? Curious how their reman stuff runs. I've always bee weary of that stuff. Too many horror stories of guns blowin up from reman rounds

what is it about .22 that makes it so scarce? The smallest least lethal round, you'd think their would plenty on hand...
Easy and use to be cheap to hoard. You shoot lots of them at least use too. Every one has them and lots of new owners and this creates a shortage. All I know is somebody has to be sitting on a massive hoard when you read how many million rounds are made a day in all the factories in the nation.
Wow! I use to just shoot a few thousand at my peak! You could of caught that brass and made some cash at the scrap yard!
