why, thank you, Eatoncat! its the only thing that gets me though winter....the anticipation of a warm weather trip in April. So, I take pics when I am there, to remind me! Thank you for the kind words though. There are MANY great pictures here!

The theme of warmer days is appropriate right now. Ladies and gents I present to you the Tomato King during harvest time (usually he picks his own but being hand fed from MaMa makes it taste better).

Nice , I had a Golden Retriever , that was a tomato thief . He would go over to the neighbors garden , and pick the nice ripe mato's before they could , you'd see the tomato seeds / snot all over his face so you know what he was up too :hair: ended up giving them a shopping bag full of tomato's from my garden as a replacement .

WE had a Lab that loved tomatoes too. We had a mastiff that liked raspberries. Watching a mastiff try to gingerly remove a red raspberry without getting a thorn is actually pretty funny.

Yup that's how Jake harvested the tomato's , so gently , then once he had it he would chomp down with tomato juice squirting everywhere .

Jaco, pictured above, was a Golden/ Cocker mix, made it to 16.5 years before going across the Rainbow Bridge this past April. We have a current pack of three along with two felines, one of our dogs, Olive, is an Olde English / Pit mix, she is part cow, always hungry and eats any veg as well as dead things, grass and wood! Yep, she will go by the chopping block and splinter and then swallow the wood - we are working on stopping that behavior. :hair:
Sometimes she eats sooo much fiber/ grass that her poop looks like little hay bales! :picard:
