Chinese....lol Keep in mind that most alloy wheels today are centrifugal cast aluminum and then machined. Only Alcoa cold forges aluminum wheels from an aluminum billet that I know of. Takes a huge press and thousands of tons of pressure to cold forge an aluminum where but a cold forged wheel is way stronger than any cast wheel. Why you never see anything but forged Alcoa wheels on big trucks. There are some other brands but Alcoa is doing the forging for them.
Just one video, doesn’t mean only china is doing this. Have a look around, you’ll see. Not sure where you’re going with forged vs cast but not really interested so I’ll leave it at that. I was giving tips on refinishing, not manufacturing.
