    Mine came from Sears. Back then, probably made in Japan.
    I think it used a 9 volt battery. I'm surprised I even remember 50 years ago.

    I remember sitting at my radio cassette player for waay too long waiting for one of my favorite songs to come on the air, had to be right next to it to press the record button on the cassette tape.
