As long as she keeps cooking apple pies ect. I'll keep the home fire going! She hasn't complained about my lounging around in boxer shorts so I guess that I can put up with the heat.

Cool dreary day and the stove was on when I got home. Looks like we'll have some cool night this week.

    Guess its official! :)

I got the 'it's chilly in the house' look when I got home. I knew the time had come for heat, and there ain't no way I'm turning on the oil furnace.

It's not the pellet stove, but it is a fire.

One of the pellet machines will get turned on soon. Temps are supposed to stay in the 40s next week from what it sounds like.

Yep... Just grabbed 5 bags of Greene Golds today :) Only burned 5 bags last season and got then from another member. Finally Robbie came through from GT and got an email that stated a TSC about 30 miles away has them. Gonna buy a ton of Greene Golds and prob 2 Ton of Somersets tomorrow and/or Friday. :)

Well, only buying a ton of the GTs if they burn as good (or better) than the Sets. Otherwise, the Sets will win all 3 ton. Bought a bag from my Local hardware store and they seem even smaller than in years past. I like small pellets

You've got some good variety in your area. I'm thinking of grabbing another ton before snow flies. I haven't seen the 'sets around this season. The box stores look to be loaded with Michigan pellets again this year.

I'm making a road trip to northwest Indiana for work Saturday and will have a mostly empty work van on the way back. Might have to look around for some pellets on the way home.

They are $230 a ton. But they are having a sale this Sat, and I think they are gonna have 10% off coupons for orders over $XXX.xx (the Manager said they couldn't say more, other than they had there Demo Days and sales may apply).

So I am hoping for under $210. :)

And the rich get richer. Add about $60 a ton for us guys in New England. Very frustrating.
