Gee @Gasifier,at those prices one could pay someone to do all the work. Makes you think more about what our farmers have to put out!

Two wheel drives will do some surprising things my great grandad worked the Pennsylvania hillsides with nothing but narrow front Farmalls had an MD, 230 with a loader(just like a Super C) and a Super H it's what I learned on and still love to this day not saying something shiny wouldn't be fun  and I might add never a single accident as far as rolling over. The 230 had a winch to go on it and used to be able to drive to the lowest log landing then turn her around and use the winch to take her to the top just too steep, even the old TD6 crawler dozer would spin going up  get a turn of logs and skid them down to the barn. I still remember the words "don't push in that clutch til you get to the bottom just open the throttle and ride her down!"

I had a Ford 2120 before. Good workhorses. Mine did not have a Loader or backhoe. This one does.

A lot of tractor for the cost!

Those old tractors will out pull most 4wd compacts of today.

I know someone that tried a Ford 8N and a Bobcat CT235 drawbar to drawbar:whistle:

You would think a tractor with 1500lbs or so more weight, locking diff and 4wd would have easily pulled the 8N but it was the other way around.

Because that's $12k for a 40-year old 2WD machine that can be a part time job to keep in tip top shape.

I like the ones with one or two letters for a model name, but than again, I like 'em all like that, regardless of color.

Hydro trans on the bobcat, you can kiss 20% of your HP good-bye and if the operator just mashed the hydro pedal it gets even worse.
