I wonder how long it would really take for those things to be ready to pull.

I don't know how many pounds your lifting or how many acres you got. But A little JD like Stinny or I have are small capable little machines. Small width, loaded capable, four wheel drive with diesel would be a fairly capable woods machine. If not the 1000 series would go just a bit bigger and even more capacity... Kubato makes a nice little machine too in that size...

Ran a couple errands stopped by the JD dealer they weren't open but the 1026 is a nice size. The kubota dealer next door has a huge selection nobody from sales came out to bother me so I rode down to my nieghbors dealership which was also closed but I sat on a few and the BX series is out for sure can't sit on it comfortably. The l3031 is nicer sized but the B2301 is probably as big as I really need then I saw one behind the fence with a white repo tag on it gonna follow up on that one

Im not sure. But. You could also think about going back to a small mortgage. You could then start pulling out enough wood to compete with Scotty Overkill ! o_O They will even deliver it for "FREE"!

It could be a L3200 or L3800. Be sure they have the 3 point hitch for it.

Two wheel drive would never cut it where I am. My small tractor has traction, but doesn't have a huge foot print. If I had 100 acres of flattish land, that international might work

Because I've run IH's older than that and if I was working flat land for hay/small row cropping that'd be what I was after;)

Sidebar: are you familiar with the Billy Goat Hill outside of Leesville?
