I can see where there is too much weight on the front foot print. The static weight of the tires combined with the fulcrum weight from the FEL load could make the front sink more easily.
The only reason I can see why loaded fronts are bad idea is due to the lack of compressibility of the fluid - what am I missing?

Like I said I'm not paint color loyal, but I kind of scratch my head why the Branson's, Mahindra's of the world are so cheap, and should you ever need to unload the same tractor with more hours you're probably taking it in the shorts harder. There isn't really a dealer nearby Kubota/Deere that are 8-10mi in either direction should/when the need arise

It's hard on the steering components of the tractor. & excess tire wear.

If your going to upgrade often then going green or orange is probably the best. As to why the off brands are cheaper? Some of it is quality, fit, & finish. The rest is marketing, overhead, & bs.

I think it is wise to have ballast weight off the back any time you are using the FEL or even running down the road with it empty. I normal have my box blade or brush hog on it anyways.

Anyone care to expound upon who actually makes which machines?
I've seen a bunch of intermingling of parts between Deere, Mahindra, LS, Branson and (insert manufacturer) - somewhat mindboggling.
The kingpins keep their color but insert bits from the lesser counterparts and claim superiority...its akin to the home appliance industry

thus is the case with most major brand marketing.
I was kind of appalled after researching the Mahindra brand - 5yr useless warranty, "Made in America" campaign. They have some nice features on a low-mid market tractor for hobby farming, but the adaptation to the US market seems a dud with poor engineering & quality control

Agreed, I purchased my Mahindra with the mindset of not selling it. The dealer is close and all that...... When looking myself for a tractor I didn't see much difference in new vs used in the Mahindra max line. I chose the largest in the Max line up but what struck me as a little odd is the cash price was the same as the finance price with the 1000 rebate. I bought the tractor, fel, bush hog and a box blade 16,800 out the door including tax. I figured this way I don't have to wonder on what the tractor has been through or maintenance record with a little dealer support to boot. Even if I upgraded I'm just gonna keep it since it's paid for. So far I am happy with it even in the woods it's smallish footprint and tight turning makes it very maneuverable in the woods. I'll tell you though, for me buying the right tractor was a tough decision as I have a Kubota, John Deere and Mahindra dealer in the same area and know the owners of all of them so there's that...

Tractors are interesting. Yes there is a lot of crossover of parts and or engines. Mahindra uses their own stuff made in India, Mitsubishi made on Japan and LS made in Korea. Interestingly, most of kubotas attachments including FEL, back hoe, etc are made in USA. Not quite as "global" as cars, but yes, you observation about similar tractors being sold with different color paint jobs is spot on.

Not sure what your budget is, but I assume you will get a great deal tomorrow from any dealer. I bought my 3500 Silverado on the last day of 2015 and cleaned house. Bigger companies want to pump the year end numbers. Good luck

Fluid filled tires are not completely filled if done properly. They only fill them to 75%.
