House is ready for the forecasted negative temperatures this week. Now to go prepare the garage with.... wait for it.... slab.
My dad has one. My 2 brothers and I all carried it as our first rifle when we were old enough to hunt. It has harvested more deer than I ever will in my lifetime. They are great guns.
No slab today. Some big trees came down on a friends house. Tree co removed and shredded the small stuff. The saw in the log is MS460, with 32 inch bar. my arms are shot for the day.
Nice day for the Beech after-all! That is my favorite all around wood..clean thin bark, easy to split straight grain, grows huge, burns hot, and generally rather pretty to look at. You got a great specimen there and took some cool photos..Cheers to you!
