It’s high desert. They get very little rain. And the view is fantastic!

    Thanks!

I’m going to be living in a 30’ camper trailer, and I’ve been researching mini wood stoves for it.

I’ve decided on the “Cubic Mini Grizzly wood stove.”

So I’ll finally be back into burning wood.

(Or at least kindling, in comparison to a “real” wood stove. )

Just re- read the hippie- van part of your post again. Great photos and narrative. Ended up looking at the whole thread again.
After all he's been through, we're blessed to have BrianK with us.

    Thanks!

You might be interested to know my trip included visits to a number of Catholic shrines, cathedrals and basilicas, including the Cathedral of Covington Kentucky (largest stained glass window in the world!), 018C6619-9CB6-49EE-BBE6-6A3CDF4EA709.jpeg the “Miraculous Stairs” at Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, AE9144BE-2C8F-416B-AFC4-25B0BDC8EFBD.jpeg San Miguel Chapel, the oldest church in the USA, also in Santa Fe, 373C0870-0ACB-4901-9346-848A811317EC.jpeg the Shrine of Mother Cabrini overlooking Denver, 973962FE-072C-459D-98E2-3D31988C21CF.jpeg 5508EEDE-45DE-4DDA-B485-92766103499E.jpeg Our Lady of the Rockies Statue in Montana (already closed for the season, unfortunately, so I only saw it from the interstate), the cathedral of St. Mary in Minneapolis 820C85E5-4E45-4358-92D8-DD9DE4894067.jpeg and the cathedral of St. Paul in St. Paul, 95B8A33A-7D4C-43EB-81B1-706769DE9312.jpeg EAF7AD82-65B1-4EEE-BAA4-D553AA9255F5.jpeg Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine in La Crosee, 48D7D026-F7F4-42CE-934E-FF5F795E9FDD.jpeg 0D23D616-CA24-4D81-BD13-CDEB4F44FF9A.jpeg and the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help (only Vatican approved apparition site in USA) outside of Green Bay WI.

The Cathedral of St. Paul and the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe were both spectacular!

Yesterday I made my last stop, at Acadia National Park, overlooking Bar Harbor Maine. E4D9D930-3706-4941-BE0D-A3AD2FBF06D0.jpeg 8B1FE006-B01A-4B53-9F66-B5C53190AA7E.jpeg 6B2E2482-9A90-4988-9A89-888DC3D8901C.jpeg 8B1FE006-B01A-4B53-9F66-B5C53190AA7E.jpeg

I just got back to Massachusetts tonight. So I’ve literally travelled Maine to California and back!

Right before I left I retired my iPhone 5se and got an iPhone 10 XR. It’s this phone that takes the great pics!

It’s a “PhD” camera - “push here, dummy.”

Now I think I see how the "bucket list" was worked out. One need not even be spiritually inclined to appreciate the great architecture and history.
