Chaz and I were talking about your shed and how high the stack is. What are the dimensions again. Know you do stack 8'. Chaz was talking about 6' or higher. I can do 6' but anything higher is his issue. :D

Got out for a little over four hours today. Fell a red oak and a cherry and bucked them both up. Also was another red oak that had broke off about 12 feet up that I got partly taken care of. Got a load out and several loads left to haul!

Red oak after bucking. This is what was left after I loaded the remaining elm from yesterday and topped it off with the small stuff from this tree. FEC42A89-5A6E-4B02-A935-ECD84187403D.jpeg
The cherry all finished up! (Pictured at bottom)
The snag red oak started. Just have the standing portion of trunk and some on the ground. F9B963F9-65E2-49AF-8B7F-8C89E8E51D42.jpeg BF72DFE7-5065-41F0-BC7B-81CF394BDA42.jpeg

Buddy keeps cornstarch in his tool box at work. When it’s hot and humid he says “ time to make some hush puppies” lol

Another great load sir. Looks like ideal cutting conditions...no snow or mud. Has your splitter run away from home yet?

Perfect conditions. Dry ground and today started in the high 30’s and ended in the 40’s. Supposed to get wintery mix last night but didn’t. I’m focusing on cutting through this week and next and think I can reach my goal of what I wanted to have before I turn to splitting full time. Once I’m splitting, I’ll be getting the splitter out for days I can split most of the day. I’m making my third big pile of rounds now. It’s gonna sure be nice to see it All turning into splits!:axe::stack::woodsign:

I’ll have maybe 5 cord stacked in the barn this year. Just takes up too much room to have much more than that.

The floor size is 11x15. I don't normally stack that high. About 6' in the other big shed, 4 1/2-5' in the smaller sheds.

We’re you at my church Sunday? Pastor spoke on “Stop trying to change your situation and just change your perspective”. Sounds like you’ll enjoy the time off either way:yes:
