Cut4fun, Is that a 288 deflector on the muffler?

Snowmobile handle and the operator presence lever taped off, were you racing with it?

Those saws just feel right with a 28" bar.

Mine has a 288 deflector, too. And an X-tra Banana or two!

So the saw cut good but there is something up with the tank vent. It looses power in the cut, loosen the gas cap and it cuts normal for a few more. Will have to investigate.

If you look at the air filter cover. I had opened the outside and inside like the oem side. Twice the openings then.

I just ordered a 28" bar for Xmas. Only a OEM 6421 for now. The 20" bar felt silly.

Would love to run 20" or 28" with a big bore. I'll have both bars but only 64cc for now. In our pnw woods, a real 20" bar on my stihl often isn't long enough.

Those look so much better with that matte black instead of glossy.

Agreed. I much prefer the matte or the grey to the gloss black.

I didn't investigate yet but will later today. We have a lot of people coming for Christmas and the wife is making me do things.

I've actually gone the other way. I use the 28" so little, that I put it on my 6401. What little bit I use it, the extra time in a big one is offset by the 8 pin and 20" on the 7900 ;)

Yup.. The 7910 has the matte black cap.. Good choice on Dolmar's part I think.
