Added a 2" receiver / winch mount to my trailer

    Definitely.

    in my enclosed, i actually have my winch along the drivers side wall.
    I use a piece of E track to locate a snatch block towards the center of the trailer for when i am winching my car in.

    If you are wanting to mount your winch on the tongue, just in front of the rail, and if it will be below the deck, you can mount a roller on the edge of
    the deck so the cable rides on the roller.

    If this is what you are wanting, you will want to mount your winch at an angle so the cable doesnt feed onto it or into your fairlead at an angle.
