We made it thru the worst part of URI last night okay. The Houston metroplex area has over one million customers without electrical power (4 million without electrical power in Texas) but thanks to the good Lord I'm not one of them. My current temperature is 8 degrees which is near record lows with about two inches of snow on the ground. URI will go down in the history books for sure as the worst winter storm in our area in 134 years. I hope you made it thru the bad stuff without any problems, stay warm and stay safe.

Boy was it cold outside today. I had to bring some more wood in. When I came in I was "Shivering like a dog chitting razor blades."
When some one wants something I remind them, "People in hell want ice water."

Dog chatting razor blades is common round here too. Usually shaking though.
