Abused my saw this week

    another degreaser that works like a champ but will stain aluminum and stainless steel is Spray Nine.
    We use it for all kinds of cleaning from lube oil/hydraulic skids to countertops - don't use it on waxed floors though.
    There are places where long term oil weeps will create a brown stain on epoxy paint, a couple sprays from the stuff and you have a clean surfaces with just a rinse of water - no scrubbing

    pretty sure they are all caustic detergents, thus the degreasing capability and metal oxidation.
    The "biodegradable" part of these cleaners is what made them popular - biodegradable just means it will molecularly degrade from a caustic/acid into a neutral substance.

    If you want to clean aluminum oxidation use muriatic acid it will biodegrade as well - chit I dump it in the pool to stabilize chlorine loss;)

    Am I the only one that put the saw in the dishwasher?:p

    Really though, compressed air and cleaning agents usually at work, which I need to do soon!

    Read KRL's post below. I spoke with him on the phone a couple weeks ago (and just got off the phone with him a fee minutes ago as well :)) and he told me about it. Keeps the saw dust, oil, junk, etc from sticking inside the clutch cover and on the front of the cases.
