    Tamarack, how was that chain grinder. I've always wondered if they were worth trying

    It was a great ST. PADDYS day, got alot of beer drank up and was toasty warm by the woodstove.

    Yes the harbor freight grinder is ok. Certainly not as nice as say a 511ax oregon grinder, but i believe those are about 400 $. The HS grinder gets the job done, but imho the rail and holddown mechanism leave something to be desired. It was 30$ including shipping so the price is right.

    I have been thinking about one of those grinders. Might have to give one a try at that price point.
