I've seen some videos of folks baiting pigs in to a big batch of Tannerite and then firing it off. It's pretty impressive but gory. Normally I wouldn't condone killing an animal that way, but wild/feral hogs are nothing more than oversized cloven-hoofed rats to me. I don't feel bad killing either by any means possible.
Oh now that sounds interesting. But think I'd rather eat some pork...if it's good. I've heard mixed reviews on wild pig.
Probably depends on age. I am not sure I would want to eat anything off an old wild boar. My son shot a wild one down by Athens, he said it was a smelly one. He claims once you open them up they don’t smell any different than the domesticated swine he occasionally hauls. I haven’t asked if he has ate any of it yet. He learned that hog hide is tough & you need a couple sharp knives or a hone to tune things up.
