    Actually I had nothing to do with this scrounge. Yesterday we had a surprise visit from a couple of scrounger/lumberjacks. They had a large load of some large white ash they had taken down and they dumped it here. It will come in very handy at next months get-together. Thank you Armbru84 and Barcroftb. That was a big ash!

    Nice score Dennis! Not many big Ash left thanks to the EAB. I don't think we have a single live one left on our property in CT. (Not like we have a lot of property, but we did have a good 20+ Ash trees at one time)

    That was the tree. Got a good supply of nutrients over the years from the spring fed pond next to it.
