My SD holds 16, then I believe to say it is +1 for a chambered round. I agree to find more that allow max number of rounds in it .So far no restrictions here... just limits based on how many rounds can fit in a single mag.
Again I wasn’t going to make Sugarbug87 ‘s mind, she can do that on her own. But now all the stores have very small numbers so she’s less likely to hold the one she wants. So far she said she liked the 9mm, She shot the .45 as her very first gun shooting. I plan to take her out shooting again today if we can. Hope that place that rents out guns has an option for her. She and I had a very decent conversation about why we would use a gun, what to use, some reasons as to working on a farm area that has cows and bulls between a fence. Why would we use it, possibly to dispatch a cow running at someone? We don’t personally own any but plan to fix a fence that houses horses and keeps the cows out. Keeping a firearm ready is a possible need.

While I have never shot a running cow I would think that a 9mm would be a small round to drop the animal. Of course a hit in the right spot would but..
Something to think about if that is the purpose of carrying the weapon.

Nope. Can’t even sell BB guns on CL due to CL rules but more important is state law. Per 2014 state law all private buyers and sellers must transact through an FFL who must run a background check. Heck, you can’t even hand your gun to your best buddy at the range legally as it’s considered a transfer.

So you can sell it to another individual, but would just have to go through an FFL. Or you could probably sell or trade it in at a dealer. Or just keep it, you know, just cause...

I meant 10 years ago you could do it. There wasn’t any law saying you couldn’t. At least I had 2 rifles and one shotgun at the time. Traded them for fishing gear.

it was like buying a hammer, a tool. cash. Those are the guns that I don’t want to sell. Zero records. At the time I just needed a deer rifle.

there are some really nifty guns available these days chambered in 5.56. They’re not actually available now but they should be available again when all of this blows over.

I wish I had taken advantage of storing these for a different day. One was a Savage .270, the other was a Mosin-Nagnant(I bought this at about $99.) Today, it isn’t found less than $400. Last one was a barrel exchange Mossberg 500, home defense and hunt. These were actually quite quality guns. Why I didn’t keep them? Priority change. Other than that... I wish I hadn’t traded for Fishing gear...
