Nice weather permitted some sawing, wish I had more pics but I only have these two. I cut up some rough cut pine timber for dry kindling and got some more of that hemlock cut split and stacked on the porch(before that pile was twice as large).
This is true, unfortunately my wood lot sits on a drain out area for the mountain so it never gets completely dry, but I do see a few trees mother nature has fallen for me already due to the freezing/thawing on the creek bank.
