I asked him if the storm had increased drop offs and he said no. Im thinking the lack of foliage prevented more trees/limbs from coming down.
That’s interesting Brad. I went out and did some raking Christmas Eve Day post storm. We had a whole bunch of sticks down. Then again, one of my neighbors who was walking, told me I was brave for doing yard work when it was 12F out.
I had a bit of brush to get rid of the other day and needed to do so before the compost center closed for the season. While not as many rounds as Brad scored, there were a few rounds there buried! I ended up no grabbing any as I have plenty of wood up north right now. Hoping another hoarder scooped them up before they shut for the season.
Only four more days open. Im tempted to go and see what i can get. Bringing a saw with me. Next Saturday the last day till mid March. My recycling is filling up. Good excuse to go. We're hoarders Glenn...we can NEVER have enough!
You are so right Brad! No matter how much we have, there’s always that temptation for more firewood! Keep us posted if you make one more pilgrimage over there before they shut for the season.
