Well I had told the lady to have them leave the wood in longer pieces as they were coming today. I stopped by before my job to check and my heart sank. Random tree service lengths. :headbang: IMG_5699.JPG
Had to make a materials run later and the boss was there. He said rest will be in long lengths. Really cool guy easy to talk to. Stopped end of day and no additional work had been done other than brush pile gone. Unusual crawler type lift. Never have seen one like it. May have time Wednesday to cut a load. IMG_5702.JPG

Yeah same here. Looks like I'm making a nugget bin for high btu chunks. I have some dogwood and shag for it and from the looks of it lots of HL too.

Ahh, the trial and tribulations of a wood hoarder!

That looks like a spider lift when you get it into position it has 4 outriggers I even think they go 80 or 90 feet high
The other cool thing about them is they are supposed to be able to fit thru a 36” gate

Tree service used one of those out here a few years ago clearing the power lines. Really cool watching it in action. The base lifts off the ground and only the outriggers are on the ground.
