    Broke my Isocore maul back in January. Handle had a crack and Fiskars sent a check for replacement. Finally completely broke last week. Picked one up at Lowe's today.
    I broke two of their X27 axes in the past too. :axe:Mainly used to section big rounds for ease of handling. IMG_0734.JPG IMG_0735.JPG Maybe start a pool as to how long before i break it. :picard:

    I've been looking for an isocore near me and noone sells em it seems, home depot had x27s, Menards had their own branded ones I might order one.

    My local Lowe's didnt have one (only X27's) and this was the other close by one i go to. Have you ever used one? Great maul. Also makes a great sledge too which ive used as such.

    Got its first use today. Sectioned a big BL stump into sixths to load. I DIDN'T break it!

    Bought it October of 2019, died this month. Cords is anyones guess. The old one didnt do a lot of splitting, mostly sectioning bigger rounds. I did use it for splitting hickory which i dont get a lot of. Most of the time the X27 and now the X25 handle the "normal" splitting if im not near the hydro.

    Honestly if i break another one i may consider something else. I wonder if they will still honor the warranty. If so the first email i get from them may start with "Not again Brad" :rofl: :lol:
