If that's the case, they need the state and feds need to be called. That's illegal, and bad for every non flex fuel engine. State and federal laws allow no more than 10% ethanol in the base fuel. Yes, they can sell e15, and e85, but they have to offer an option of 10% max ethanol. Over 10% is not safe for any small engine, and only some cars are saying it's ok to use anything more than e10, in no flex fuel versions.

I Run ethanol free in my sthil and now going to that in my homelite. I use a 93 octane non-e available at a pump in town (limited hours, but available) its cheap insurance. I usually use whatever synthetic oil is at walmart, lately its been the little stihl oil bottles that i picked up with my saw. No issues yet!

Of course it illegal ... but have you ever seen the proper governmental agency randomly checking pumps ? I never did ... the point I was trying to emphasize is that in certain areas you gotta be careful with the fuel you buy especially when it’s a single nozzle with that dispenses multiple fuel

    Never had until last week.

That's a good point. I would fill a can for the mower or ranger then fill my 2-stroke jug. Sadly I've decided not to buy there anymore. They just don't sell enough premium e-free & is going south. Better of running fresh 87 with ethanol than that stuff.

I run 87 e free. Have been for 10 years. I've tested a ton of fuels milling in a cant. 87 was the fastest and no problems in 0-100 degree weather. VP SEF was 2nd fastest. 90 marine and 93 were slower. 110 turbo blue was 10% slower than 93 and seemed like it killed the power.
