That's what most of mine get used for. That or an outside fire when I want to drink beer in the cooler weather.

Figured I'd update this with some info on the 7900...
It fared well in KY. Stihlbro got to run it, and thought the same as I did about it.. Makes very good power, and the limited coil needs to be made unlimited... You gotta push it a little to keep it away from the limiter...
So that'll be the next step.. We need it clean when it hits the wood...
    Coil has been ordered...
    :drunk:

Did I mention I really like the way this thing runs??
    It's got that 372 anger...

Where did you get an unlimited coil for the 7900? I know they exist, just not common.

272 and all others that share that p/n. Can be used complete or press the coil portion off the Dolmar laminated frame and swap husky coil on to dolmar frame

Mike/Adam have either of you looked at the Solo 665/75/81 coils to determine if they are limited or not and if they would work on the Dolmars?

There is a OEM 7900 unlimited coil out there. OVERSEAS. But I was never able to obtain one through my sources back in the day with ported 7900 I ran. Was on 7900RS. Thread on it on my site again.

Like Adam states 272 mojo must be worked.

This saw from factory with unlimited coil.

They're limited also. I wish grand Dogg would have got the unlimited coil made for them.
