It had to be ported or it would have taken too long to cut that stuff.

    Speaking of 70 cc saws...

This was a 441 that ran.. Yep... And for less than $300!! Shipped!!!

I was gonna bid on it, but thought it was gonna go much higher... So I didn't follow it.

Wish I did. How many here would want a 70 cc Strato saw for $300?

Saws like that, I'd kick in a bid for the most I was willing to pay and let nature take it's course. If you win, great, if not, wasn't meant to be and the seller gets a few more $$ for his/her saw. Plus, you get the option to re-bid should someone challenge your max bid.

Yeah, I should have put my $300 in? But I was positive it was going north of $400 in running condition (carb needed adjusted). :)

Guess my Stihl Sense doesn't work so great :(

That "s pen" feature is pretty cool! Is that an app or a feature on your phone or tablet?

Yea that was a great price!

The Galaxy Note 3 has a Stylus that slides inside of it. It can be used for numerous things. But what I use it for most is Screenshots. I can write, change the size, style, and color of the writing, choose how much of the are on the screen shot I want people to view. It also has a scrapbook feature. That's another one I use a lot. It stores them in folders that I have made (eBay, Chainsaw related, etc).

It's very handy when you want to point something out in a Screenshot. :)

    Nice. Is a cool feature.

I'm sure I could find an app to do that...if I felt like looking. Nice that its built into the phone.

I don't know what app on the phone would do that. I do most of the stuff like that on paint on the PC.

I've been kicking one of those around for my Christmas gift to myself. That impressive huh? I just have a little 251 that works for most of what I do but there were a few times I couldn't tackle what I wanted too with that saw. Plus, if one breaks down in the woods I need another.

It would have to be an app that you could open a screen capture then draw on the jpegand resave it.

I can make pic folders in my phone to save stuff like that in I guess?

Especially when your wife, parents, and in-laws keep asking you what you want for Christmas...

Maybe an all three pitch in.... Now I'm thinking...

Is the 461 worth the little extra money? Saw them both last week at the local shop. The 461 they had was 1139. I believe it had a 28" bar. I think the 441 was 1029 with the 25".

I would opt for the 461 personally. Because even in stock form (with a Muffler mod), the 461 will be right about even with a ported 441. May be slightly behind it. But for the small amount of money, it's plenty worth it.

    441 -$949 + $300 port job = $1,300 after tax
    Or
    461 -$1079 + a free muffler mod = $1,100 after tax

Your gonna save more money and have more power buy getting the 461.

Honestly this saw has more than enough power in it's current form w/ muffler mod. It's balanced well with a 20" bar, doesn't feel taxing/tiring running it.
I'm not one to buy something new and especially in the tool department.
I know you guys love your port jobs, and Randy does some amazing work, and we all love cutting wood - but you guys are starting to become porting pushers:rofl:

The former owner did sell it because he had two other 70cc saws one of which I believe is ported

Way too high at that dealer. The 441 should be $870 or so and the 461 is around $989. Either my dealer hasn't updated their prices or something. Every jump in bar length is only $10 with the power head.
