    Ya know, I got a 365XT and a good ole' 365XP special in the shop right now.. Both stock saws with a Muff Mod...
    Wanna bet which one cuts faster?
    I should do a little test...

    1127s, 1123s, 271 vs 291, 311 vs 391.......

    They've been at it a long time. It's a marketing thing. ;)

    2252 = 545
    2253 = 550xp
    2258 = 555
    2260 = 562xp

    The 562xp takes the large bar mount, and the 2260 is small mount.

    I have the 555 husky and it is one strong saw!! I mean its a mean 60cc saw. It has crazy torque.

    I love that saw!

    Mine is really my work saw. It sits in the truck waiting for a down tree so I can use it.

    Ok every now n then I just go cut the but off a junk log or some cull logs just to use it:)

    I need to bring it home and cut one day with it.

    Wait, what? Oh yeah that's me.

    No, but I enjoyed playing with an Stihl 880 today at the Outdoors Show. I had no idea that an 880 powerhead was 6lb heavier than a 661 powerhead. There must be a lot more to an 880 than +1.6 hp. While I could see a strong guy handling a 461 or 661 with a medium length bars, the 880 is obviously only for long bars.

    I'm still running my 372XP to good effect. When I first posted this I think it was a factor that my logs were frozen and slow to cut. Since then some tweaks to my sharpening method and thawed wood has my cutting moving at a better pace. I can't lie though I cheat often and earlier this week I considered buying a used 390XP for $400. It was a long enough trip to see it that someone else scooped it up.
