His remarks are tongue in cheek, Luney. He's the Plant Manager at MWP in Athens, Maine.......

We don't make a 100% hardwood pellet. Only a blend and a pure softwood.
Are you sure those were really MWP? The complaints we've received have been either a case of mistaken identity, water damage, or damaged packaging. For example, the last quality complaint we had was from someone who said they burned well last year but terrible this year. It turned out he had a different pellet this year.
I have someone who can contact you for help if you'd like.

Thanks HL 007 for clarifying, much obliged.
Scot I stand corrected as I am definitely sure they were in fact NEWP not MWP as you had suspected . Sorry about that I apologize and now have to find some MWP preferably not re bagged and abused or mishandled with protection in respect to the weather and give them a shot. Looks like i need to pay closer attention to acronym's which is a challenge for myself as everyday it seems that the commercial construction Industry just thrives on them and they are endless especially with the new generation working their way into the industry.... Good stuff

No problem Luneyburg. Mistaken identity is quite common - especially with the Tractor Supply bags.
