Thanks for the offer, but I think I’m just going to buy one since I did figure out one thing so far. My stock coil makes the saw fire from the exhaust on start up.

 

Surprisingly that was the reason I started messing with it It was firing through the muffler on warm restart and then stalling after letting off the throttle. This led me to start making some carb adjustments thinking that it was to rich somewhere and flooding the saw after letting go of the throttle. Also thinking that being rich blowing fuel into the exhaust on shut down was causing the exhaust fire on re start.
